Greetings:

It was an honor to have been selected as one of the stops for the
United Nations 50th Anniversary Global Peace Walk '95.

The City of Indianapolis has long represented a vibrant example of
people working together. The working partnerships for which this
city is known has earned us the reputation of being referred to as
the "Crossroads of America." We are a community of families
working together, building a city in which we can all be proud.

On behalf of the citizens of Indianapolis, I salute the participants and
sponsors of the Global Peace Walk '95 and support your commitment
to unity and peace.
