Kovu is first an Outlander, son of Zira and definitely NOT son of Scar!; )
Kovu is a part of Zira's plot to take over the Pride Lands and to kill Simba, but things get complicated when he falls in love with Kiara, Simba's daughter. He refuses to plot against the Pridelanders anymore and Zira takes this as a challenge for war.
Kovu's young speaking voice is Ryan O'Donahue and adult speaking voice Jason Marsden, adult singing voiice is provided by Gene Miller.
