More Good News

In the first newsletter of the millennium the Ethics Network was pleased to announce that it had received a $15,000. grant from the Josiah Macy, Jr. Foundation. Now in the Spring, the Network received some more good news. The Fan Fox and Leslie R. Samuels Foundation agreed to match the grant that we received from the Josiah Macy, Jr. Foundation. We are very appreciative of the Foundation’s continued commitment to our work! The Fan Fox Foundation has been the Ethics Network’s principal sponsor for the past five and half years and we are pleased that they will be sponsoring the Network, along with the Josiah Macy, Jr. Foundation for at least another year.

Anyone having leads about additional sponsors or foundations is encouraged to let the Ethics Network know. We hope to be around for many more years and it is never too early to start thinking about funding and sponsorship. One way that you can help is by attending the Network’s conferences, which happen to be a real bargain. You really get a lot for your money—distinguished speakers, a folder with articles and references, an opportunity to network, and you might consider it a mental health break from work as well. Sure it is time off from work but think of all the new knowledge you can bring back to work from the conference to share with your colleagues. Please do come and join us at Fordham University on the 8th!
