Jim Peterik
1977 - 1996; Songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, & co-founder.
Peterik & Sullivan formed Survivor in the late seventies. Jim reports the name was culled from the notes on his 1976 solo album Don't Fight the Feeling. Actually each member came into the group as a survivor from other rock'n'roll situations; Dave Bickler from Jamestown Massacre; Sullivan from Mariah; and Peterik from the Ides of March. Jim bid farewell to Survivor in July of 1996 and now plays with the band he started in high school, The Ides Of March. Additionally, Jim Peterik is the creator of the World Stage project, collaborating and performing with numerous well-known names in the music business.
