MMMMMM. What is Christmas without the Christmas dinner?
My mother is from Northern Quebec originally so one of the best things we have every year is tourtiere. This is a meat pie. It is quite good. I remember one time when I was a kid, I was supposed to be in the kitchen washing dishes but instead I was digging the meat out of one of her pies! BOY OH BOY did I ever get it that day!! LOL It just tells you how much I love the things! LOL
Some other things we have now are sweet potatoes, squash, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, turkey, ham, and lots of pies, jello, ice cream, and Christmas cake for dessert! This year, the kids and I sat down and made a Gingerbread House. You can find all of my recipes following.
