You will Need:
small amount of black yarn.
size G crochet hook
large sewing needle for weaving in ends
Head
With black ch 2, 8 hdc in second ch from hook, join with sl st and leave long string for sewing.
Middle
Row 1. With black ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook, join with sl st.
Row 2. Ch 1, sc in same st, 2 sc in each remaining st, join with sl st and leave long string for sewing.
End
Row 1. With black ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook, join.
Row 2. Ch 1, sc in same st, 2 sc in each remaining st, join with sl st.
Row 3. Ch 1, sc in same st, hdc in next , and 2 dc in the next, hdc in next sc, sc in the next 2, hdc in the next one, 2 dc in the next one, hdc in the next one, sc in next st, join with sl st, finish off.
Antennae
Ch 6, sl st onto any hdc on the head, ch 7, pull through, finish off.
Legs
Ch 3, on the back of the middle, sl st onto any of the sc, ch 4, pull through, finish off.
Skip next sc, repeat above leg, sk next sc, repeat again. Finish off.
ASSEMBLY:
Attach head to body, body to end. Use googly eyes or make a French knot for the eye.
