I decided one day that I wanted to have a bean bag toss game for my
daughter's party, but I did not have any bean bags around the house so
I needed to throw something together quickly and easily. This is what
I came up with.
Cut the orange material into 2 oval shapes. Sew buttons or black
material on for eyes, nose, and mouth. I used buttons, but you can
use black material cut into the shapes you want, and sew them on now.
Then put the outsides together and sew the seam almost all the way
around, leaving about 3 inches to turn it right-side out. Do this,
and then stuff it about 3/4 full with dried beans or rice. Then you
can either hand sew, or machine sew carefully the opening shut.
Find a bowl or big pot. Let the kids have a few turns and keep track of
who does the best! We give prizes for the most ins and the farthest away!
