ASSEMBLY

do not stuff arms, stuff legs, nose, and tail lightly. fold ears in half to make a 1/2 cup shaped ear. sew front to back body sewing ears, arms, and legs at equal parts apart from each other around the outside of the body. then sew the nose onto the front of the face of the bear, just slightly below the center of the front of the face.
flip the bear over and loosely attach the front to the back in the middle, just to give the pillow a little bit of foundation so the stuffing wont move around too much inside, leaving about an inch between the front and back and then tie that with a knot and sew the tail on the exact middle of the back, loosely stuffed so it wont stick out funny tho. (lol) but make sure that it is over the foundation knot to hide it securely.

easy way to describe assembly of ears, arms, and legs... imagine that your bear pillow is a clock. 1:00 and 11:00 are ears. 3:00 and 9:00 are arms. 5:00 and 7:00 are legs.

eyes - make 2

row 1. with light blue, ch 2, 8 sc in last ch from hook, on last stitch, change to black.
row 2. 2 hdc in each stitch. finish off, leave long tail for sewing onto face. attach very close to the nose, one on each side.

give your bear a name and then give your child a bear hug from me :)
