The venue where we played Arena Rock!

Many years had passed since I played Arena Rock.  Almost ten years had passed, since I played the Nipigon Arena.  I had been in a few bands over the years.  From the Images, I joined Oxtongue Lake, then came Zombie Wolf, then Oxtongue Lake again and finally The Rifflifters.

The Rifflifters were scheduled to play at Chippewa Park on Canada Day, but it rained, so the concert had to take place indoors and that place was to be the Fort William Gardens!  The players with me at the time were Mike Bradica on bass guitar and Luke Moloney on drums.  I handled all of the guitar and vocal chores.  We had officially released a cassette entitled, "Between the Extremes".  We figured this arena rock scenario would be an excellent venue to promote our release.

The entertainment on this particular day was quite simular to what they had in Nipigon, give or take a couple of clowns.  Needless to say, it was quite lame until we went on.  We played pretty well straight forward rock and roll until these last three songs:

Go on and Bleed was about how our country has devolved with political correctness, reverse discrimination and insipid attitudes suggesting we dare not question these things!

Bimbo Girl was about these women who are materialistic, clueless and trendy!

Nuclear Waste was about making the best out of a pretty bad situation!  Nuclear devastation is as bad as it could get!  Believe it or not, every kid loves this song!

Yeah I did it again with another group! I played Arena Rock!
