Toronto is the largest city in Canada,
and located in the south of Ontario. It is also the capital of
Ontario. The checkerboard floors that Gordie sings about is the
grid pattern of the roads in the Greater Toronto Area. Toronto is
one of the few cities in North America which was layed out in this
pattern. Many other cities have a spoke-like road system, which is
