The Grand River, Ontario - Canada

For folks in the eastern part of southwestern Ontario, the Grand River is just about in everyone's backyard, yet very few people actually take advantage of it!

I've lived close to the Grand River for the past 12 years. For about five of those years, the Grand River was essentially our backyard. We fished, canoed and took walks along its shores. However, this past summer, 2002, was the very first time I had the pleasure of a lunch cruise on the Grand! There were about 40 of us altogether for a private cruise - lot's of fun and great food!
