I first became fascinated with the ancient art of Geomancy several years ago, when I fell
upon a book by Nigel Pennick while working at the local public library. Since then I
have found his works to be important and definitive in Geomantic studies. Although many
of Pennick's books are now out of print, they are worth looking for, either at your local
library or at used book shops. You might also want to try the used & rare book search
engines that I have linked to my Books & Art page. I would also like to add that I
am aware of the recent popularity of Geomancy, however most of the focus tends to be
on Eastern philosophies, especially on the practice of Feng-Shui. My main interests
however, are in Western European use of Geomancy. More specifically: henges,
long barrows, ley lines, & the use of Sacred Geometry in Medieval churches & cathedrals.
