以龍會友── 赤柱龍舟協會乃赤柱居民聯誼會之附屬組織

赤柱居民聯誼會發源於赤柱、植根於赤柱，一直至力推動本區之康樂及体育活動及社區服務，亦與龍舟運動結下不解之緣，本會引以為傲。70年代獲政府批地在赤柱灣海濱興建二層式會所 (圖中央小白屋)。2001年正式把龍船組 改組及註冊為「赤柱龍舟協會」，為香港及全球龍舟運動的發展肩負起更重要的角色。

2004年度委員會

Stanley Dragon Boat Association - is a subsidiary of Stanley Residents Assn.

The Stanley Residents Association originated in Stanley, and will keep Stanley as the focal point of its services, which include recreational and sporting activities as well as community welfare. A close tie with the dragon boat fraternity is also a proud tradition of the Association.

In the 70's land was granted by the government to build the Club House at the sea side of Stanley Bay. In 2001 our dragon boat task group was reformed and registered as Stanley Dragon Boat Association so as to take up a even more positive role on promoting the sport of dragonboating in HK and the World.

In the new millennium, more recognition has been gained from the community and the authority from our effort and more government land has been leased at the Stanley Main Beach for the Association to build a proper boat house and dragon boat depot.
