STEPS FOR ACCEPTING JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOUR

BENEFITS:

  1. VICTORIOUS LIVING: You will become an 'overcomer' in this life. (1 John 5:4,5)
  2. ASSURANCE OF SALVATION: You will have 'eternal life.' (John 10:28,29)
HERE ARE THE FACTS:
  1. FOR ALL HAVE SINNED and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23). This means that you and I, and all mankind need to be rescued from sin.
  2. THERE IS HOPE because..."Christ that died, yea rather that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us." Therefore no one "shall separate us from the love of Christ." Neither "tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness or peril or sword." (Romans 8:34, 35)
  3. GOD'S LOVE IS for "everyone"... But as many as received him to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." (John 1: 12)
  4. "… EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN AGAIN he cannot enter the Kingdom of heaven ... Verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God." (John 3:3, 5)
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NOW:
  1. 'That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth, the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou salt be saved.
    For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:9, 10)
  2. Simply tell Jesus you are sorry for your sins and ask his forgiveness. Why? Because ... "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. And that he was buried and that he rose again the third day, according to the scriptures." (I Cor. 15:3, 4) Christ paved the way and made our forgiveness easy and instantaneous. Jesus takes away all our shame; we never have to feel shame again.
WHAT'S NEXT:
  1. Read your Bible every day.
  2. Pray every day.
  3. Find a Christian church with good Bible Teaching.
    Every day we need to feed this new relationship through prayer and study of the word.
