Printed tags will be available a week prior to the show at William Gibson Hair styling, corner of King and Nelson, Hensall.
1. Entrants must be paid up members; any adult may exhibit on payment of the $3.00 membership fee. Junior gardeners WELCOME: your exhibiting tag will indicate your status.
2. Only one entry per person is allowed in each class. Containers are provided by exhibitor.
3. All exhibits and plants must be in place by 12:00 PM the day of the show. Entries will by received from 9:30 - 11:30 AM the day of the show. The exhibitor is responsible for correctly naming, classifying and placing his/her exhibit appropriately.
4. Exact number of flowers, sprays, spikes called for must be shown. A bud is classed as a bloom if it shows colour, except in sprays, stems, spikes or stalks.
5. In the arrangements accessories and other live foliage and flowers will be allowed but, fresh class flowers must predominate.
6. Exhibits must be removed by exhibitors after 9 PM the evening of the show.
7. Judges' decisions are final and judges have the power to withhold
an award if, in their opinion, the entry is not worthy of first prize,
or recommend it for only a second or third prize in the event of only one
entry in the class.
Prizes will be awarded the evening of the show by the show committee.
