The Yamaha FZR-R 250 Homepage

Now I haven't always owned a ThunderCat and everyone's gotta start somewhere. I started with a Yamaha FZR-R 250 (well actually my first bike was a CT 110 but I don't talk about those days too often...:)~

This was a great first bike to learn on. It had all the features of the bigger FZR's including the EXUP pipe. I developed a liking for darker coloured bikes after owning this one and it greatly influenced my decision in picking the colour for the 'Cat.
The bike served me well for over a year while on a restricted licence and I didn't have any problems whatsoever. If your looking for a good, reliable first bike then look for a FZR-R 250. They look great, go like the clappers( for a 250 ) and handle long trips well. Mine went to Airlie Beach and Townsville a couple of times and I never had a problem with it.
