It's a 1990 model imported it from Japan through a company that Rick won't mention. As did most Yamaha lovers when the OW came out Rick needed one bad. But 16-20 grand was to rich for him. In 1996 Rick found this OW in a Tokyo show room floor of a Yamaha dealer. With just 1011.7 km. on in was not even broken in. Going through a importer Rick was able to have it delivered to his door for a fraction of the retail price. This bike is the best handling street bike Rick has ever had. Though it has only 111 hp to the rear wheel ( de-restricted it from just 55 hp, via., black box only and 100 hours of jetting R&D. ) The suspension is outrageous with only miner adjustments stock!
