Honda keeps making 'em and people keep buying 'em. It's no wonder why. If your on a good thing, stick to it. But with Honda changing the look and performance of the famous 'Blade in 2000, the 99 models are running out the door as people clamber to get what has arguably been the dominant sport bikes of the 1990's. The bike below is a '99 Blade owned by Shane.
Hows this for a bargin. This bike was bought brand new. From the shop it came with a Vance & Hines race slip on and polished rims. A brand new 'Blade for $14,000 Aus. Shane wasnt sure if it was a 'Blade that he wanted at first, but the deal was too good to refuse, and now has no regrets. He rides this bike as close to it's full potential as any rider will get regulary scraping the pegs on the ranges around Mackay.
With the right riders, it is hard to seperate any one bike from another. This has been proven with two good riders going head to head, one on a R1, the other on this 'Blade. Neither one could lose the other, both scraping pegs to the point of insanity. Hopefully it wont be too long before I have some great action photos for you, but stayed tuned and take a look at these instead.
