As mentioned on the front page, I own a YZF 600R or otherwise known as a Thundercat.
The bike is a '98 model and I bought it brand new. I've made a few modifactions to it, including a Pipemasters slip on exhaust and luggage racks. The racks are removeable so you dont need to ride around with them on all the time.
I've crashed this bike before, and the rebuild took about 3 months. You can read about it in the crash pics section on the front page. Since rebuilding it, I've spent a lot more time riding it and realise what a great bike it is. I've done everything from hard range riding to long distance touring and the bike loves it all.
This bike is fun for all applications. I raced it recently at the local strip and got a 11.4 second 1/4 mile. It raced a few 750's and 600's that night and although I was beaten in time, I was never beaten across the line..
