Okay, so I guess since I requested the bios, I ought
to do one, don't you think?
Let's see. . .well, I am a native of Massachusetts, and I currently split my time between there and Minnesota, where my wonderful and darling and amazing and. . .*cough* whoops, got a little out of hand there. . .fiance, Chris, lives. *sappy expression* Currently, I'm working on my degree in English, which I hope to take to a teaching job. Why teaching, you may ask? Well, I love kids. . .and I love the thought of helping others learn, and have their eyes open to the wonders which literature has to offer. And yes, because I'm a masochist. ;) In addition, in case you can't tell since I belong to an RPG, I adore writing, and with a lot of luck and honing of what skills I have, I hope to be published at some point. But, that's more of a dream than a definite goal. As most of you know, my main addiction is to coffee, as the Pepsi Swilling Bum, Kevin, will tell you. My other little obsessions are RPGs, the X-Files, reading, writing, webpage design, acting, singing, and Chris. Oh, and swing dancing. You want fun, go watch Swing Kids, and then tell me you don't want to know how to do that stuff. Go on, I dare you. I could probably tell you anything you wanted to know about the fey world, vampires, or dragons. I find legends and myths to be highly fascinating, and being the quintessential Irish Catholic girl, I have a healthy respect for all religions, and all aspects of the supernatural, especially anything that has its roots in Irish culture. See the pattern? Let's see, what else? What got me into RPGs? Well, they came about when one of my best friends got me hooked on the Anita Blake series, and then told me about everything they had out on the web. I stumbled across a little corner of the universe called Midnight Bay, and the rest, as they say, is history. Sports? I was the manager of my school's wrestling team. Does that count? For me it does. It helps to answer the boxers/briefs question. Sometimes seeing less leaves more to the imagination. So I'll say boxers. Definitely boxers for guys. The only other sport I like, and really I love it, is hockey. Yeah, hockey. Got hooked on it in high school, and I'll still sit and yell through a game. Playing it is fun, too, but my knees don't think so anymore. Okay, okay, and I admit it, I'm a closet Patriots fan. I like football. Shhhh, just don't tell Kevin. *grin* You can blame that on Chris too. Now I actually understand the game. . .frightening thought. Well, I think that's about it for me. Thanks for listening to my rambling. |
