Player Name: Claire "Coffee Tramp" Doyle

Character Name: Muireann De Danaan

Age: Ancient. . .we're talking beginning of time here.

Description: Well, she sees herself as plain, ordinary amongst her more exotic relatives, but in reality, Muireann is beautiful, in her own way. Through some chance of fate, she didn't inherit either the bright red or the butter blond hair of her family. Instead, her hair is a deep brown, almost black, which flows down her shoulders in soft waves, over her back. Her eyes are emerald green, and they glow when she's experiencing some deep emotion, or when her powers are let loose. She's as tall as the rest of her family, a good five ten, and she's the perfect, otherworldly shapely of her bloodline.

Personality: Generally, Muireann is the courtly golden child. She knows the rules, follows them, presents herself as the perfect hostess, strategian, and member of the royal family. She makes her parents proud, and her inferiority complex is truly her own doing. Underneath the perfect facade, however, lies a woman less than satisfied with her existence. She's always been envious of her sister, Triona, who, despite her refusal to participate in court matters, is always praised, at times it seems just for her being alive. She loves her dearly, though, and wishes her no ill. In general, while at formal events she is sociable, outside of that setting Muireann tends to avoid the company of others, preferring her studies, her books, and the night. A hopeless romantic, it's no wonder she got involved with Grimm, despite her shyness.

Special Talents/Abilities: Muireann has the standard fey weaknesses and susceptibility to iron, and the human binding holds true for her as well. In addition her reclusiveness is a barrier to communication outside court settings. Informal crowds make her edgy, and the thought of traveling to unfamiliar territory unsettles her. Her particular talent lies in a glamourie enhanced natural persuasiveness. She can convince almost anyone to do anything, including her own fey brethren. Strong Masters and Alphas usually aren't susceptible, and neither is her immediate family, though her coaxing nature is a tangible presence in any room. She takes the phrase "If someone asked you to jump off a cliff, would you do it?" and makes it a decided possibility. This makes her brilliant in any war room, or at negotiation tables, but outside of these settings, she attempts to avoid coming on too strongly. The results can be disastrous, as she has experienced.

History: A member of the Tuatha De Danaan, Muireann, unlike her sister, stayed in Tir Na Nog, working alongside her father and mother, learning the ways of court, of war, and of peace. She has rarely ventured outside of her home, and the last time she did, it was almost the death of her. . .almost literally.

On one particular excursion, she was on a trip to Scotland to discuss matters of state with the fey population, and ran across one of their less savoury characters, Grimm An'Oidhche. As usual, she was up late, poring over her notes, sitting in the library, and he glanced by. Immediately, she was smitten, as it seems, was he. Their love affair was brief, torrent, and ended with Muireann learning that while some aspects of the darkness have their appeal, there are others which should best be left alone. Unfortunately, this life lesson didn't help the fact that she had fallen in love with Grimm. With barely a word, she fled back to Tir Na Nog, and remained there, knowing that he couldn't enter the country unbidden. Practical to the end, she knew that to keep from having to confront him, she would have to remain there forever. What she didn't count on was the fact that he would take a trip to Midnight Bay, as she later learned from informants, in order to do. . .something. . .to her sister. Now she's heading Midnight Bay's way to head him off at the pass, no matter how hard and how heated the reunion will be.
