Personality: Raine is a cool, genteel southern bred lady. She is extremely
intelligent, always level headed and very caring. She's very soft hearted.
She's friendly in an unobtrusive quiet way. Very down to earth. Has a
general liking for everyone, but has never been particularly fond of
vampires.

Special Talents/Abilities: Raine is a natural healer. The power is inbred in
her, it comes from her mother's side of the family. She has the "soothing
touch". A licensed therapeutic masseuse, and has just opened a "nature
shop", which deals in natural remedies, and new age things. Everything from
herbs to crystals.

History: Touraine and her twin sister Brittany are identical in looks, but
not personalities. Where Brit is outgoing, Raine is quiet and shy. Brit is
the seductress, Raine is the domestic goddess. The twins were raised on a
small plantation outside of New Orleans's LA, where Domaine Deveraux was a
parapsychologist. Their mother, Letitia Calais was once the most celebrated
beauty in French films. She was also a white witch, or Earth mother. When the
twins were 11, their mother died, the victim of an demonic possession gone
wrong. Before dying, Letitia had passed on her power and love of the earth to
Raine, and her vivaciousness and love of the spotlight to Brit. Raine became
well known in the bayous of Louisiana as a "healer". She had a shop in the
French Quarter, until recently.

Her sister, an international Supermodel, disappeared. She was on a luxury yacht in the Mediterranean with an unseemly
crowd. She had started hanging with the European " Paranormal Elite". The
yacht disappeared, leaving no trace of it's whereabouts, and no trace of her
sister. The Coast Guard say it sank in a freak storm, but the water's were
too deep to retrieve any remains. Raine knows differently. If her sister were
dead, she'd feel it. Deep down inside, she knows she's there somewhere. She
has spent the last 8 months looking for her, and a source led her to Midnight
Bay. The source said that someone or something in the Bay know what happened
to her, and if she came, eventually she'd find her sister. So, Raine packed
up and moved to Midnight Bay, and set up shop, with the hopes that one day
she'd be reunited with her sister. She is now the proud owner of "Nature's
Raine", the source of you all natural remedies for life, and beyond.
