Player Name: Chris "Junkie"
Character Name: Vil O'Conchobar (formerly Rex E Vil) Race: Fey Age: Ancient Description: Vil has black hair that occasionally falls into his eyes, and eyes the color of sapphires, pools of blue that anyone with half a brain would immediately be drawn into. He stands tall at 6' 2" and looks every bit the royal Irish fey stock that he came from. Personality: Vil's intelligent and hot tempered, a perfect match for his darling Triona. He'll protect anyone who needs security, and is strong willed and independent, except where his love is concerned. With her, he's sentimental, romantic, and fiercely protective, almost to a fault. He's got an understated sense of humor which, if one is not accustomed to it, could easily be missed or misinterpreted. Special Talents/Abilities: Vil's your typical fey. Immortal, and all the rest, as well as being wicked with a sword. However, like any other, he can be bound by iron and forced to do the bidding of any human who holds him captive until another human sets him free. His temper can also get him in trouble, usually a moment of jealousy where he decides to connect his fist to the face of some guy who may or may not be ogling Triona. And the darkness, while not able to claim any hold on him physically or psychically, exists mentally, and can arise in moments of weakness, overpowering his better judgement. History: Vil was born over two million years ago, about the same time Triona De Danaan was. Though they were close friends, he loved her deeply, but never made his feelings known. Vil felt that he was weaker than she was, and that she could never love him because of that. She was of the highest ranking Tuatha De Danaan, and he was of a more common stock, so he felt. It was simply implied, at least in his mind, that the two of them were never meant to be together. But one of those inexplicable moments of inopportunity befell him. At night, a voice came to him, a voice seemingly from the heavens, but in truth of more sinister stock. It told him that Triona would be his if he killed his brother, displayed his prowess, proved himself as the strongest in the family. His insecurity allowed the evil to enter his mind and heart, and he was engulfed by it. He killed his brother for blood to offer to the darkness. As he was offering his brother's heart to the darkness it overtook him. The shadows wrapped around him, cutting him off from the light. For millenia he dwelled as a creature of the shadows, of the night, whispering evil thoughts in the minds of others as the evil had done to him. Only through the love of Triona De Danaan was he saved, and is now hers in body, mind, and soul, and if you ask him, he'll tell you he's never been happier than he is now. |
