Pioneer Soap
Pioneer Soap is a cottage industry of rural western Ohio, located in the historic "Pony Wagon Town" of St.Paris. Our handmade gentle soaps are available for distribution around the United States, and are found in natural food stores and in finer gift shops. Our soap use herbs and essential oils, and are cold processed so that they retain the natural glycerin which moisturizes skin.
What Makes us Different
Pioneer soap is a family operated business which markets specialty soap. To ensure that our soap are gentle, we use plant oils and herbs for fragrance. We use herbs that are beneficial to the skin. Each of our soap formulas is unique. Unlike commercially prepared soap, Pioneer's exclusive hand-cut soaps are "cold processed" retaining the natural glycerin which moisturizes the skin. Our soaps contain no animal products or chemical additives, and are made with food grade olive oil and coconut oil. Our colorings are natural ingredients such as beta carotene and ultramarine clay. Our delightful and unique labels, designed by an artist, Annette Sonntag, are printed on recycled paper. We package with recycled materials.
