WRESTLING VIDEO GAMES
As far as I know, Psicosis has appeared
in only one video game so far, WCW/nWo
Revenge.
Hopefully, when Electronic Arts releases
WCW/nWo MAYHEM this
summer, they'll include all of WCWs great
lucha-libre stars. Here's a pic of Psicosis' special
move from Revenge. Don't worry, he has the
Guillotine Legdrop as well.
Ninjaguy's Reviews
- WCW/nWo Revenge
(n64) - This is my
current favorite wrestling game. It has
really good gameplay, and features over 60
wrestlers, including most of WCW's big name
luchadors. Revenge is a wrestling simulation,
which means you don't have to be a master of
games like Tekken to enjoy it. This is a must
own for ALL n64 owners.
RATING: 8.5
BEST FEATURE: Championship Mode
(Psicosis is the US Champ, and co-holds
the tag straps with Juvi.)
WORST FEATURE: No cage matches.
Could've included Super Calo & Silver
King.
- WWF Warzone
(n64, Playstation) - Warzone is a
pretty good game, but it strays from standard
wrestling sims, into the fighting game genre.
Basically, it's like Tekken in a ring with
your favorite WWF superstars. But if you
like the more advanced controls, it's a fun
game with lots of modes of play. The controls
are kind of shaky in the multiplayer
modes.
RATING: 7.0
BEST FEATURE: Awesome create a player
mode with tons of features.
WORST FEATURE: Only 17 wrestlers to
choose from.
- WCW NITRO (n64,
Playstation) - This game sucks! Don't
even rent it.
RATING: 1.5
BEST FEATURE: You don't have to play
it....
WORST FEATURE: I did.
- WCW Thunder
(Playstation) - Although quite a bit
better than it's predecessor, the horrible
Nitro, Thunder still has way too many
fllaws to be considered for anything more
than a rental. In my opinion Inland Games
should just leave the wrestling genre alone.
Maybe they could make some mediocre games
about something else they know absolutely
nothing about.
RATING: 4.0
BEST FEATURE: Create a Stable
WORST FEATURE: You can beat a guy with
a test of strength.
