The Raptors' losing streak was extended to five games after they dropped a close one to the Wizards at SkyDome on Thursday. The game was played out mainly at the foul line, with both teams taking an incredible number of free throws: 48 for Washington and 42 for Toronto.
As usual, the Wizards were led by their all-star guards Rod Strickland and Mitch Richmond. Strickland had 23 points and 14 assists, while Richmond had 31 points as the game's high scorer. High scorer for Toronto was Willis with 25.
