Doublewall Technology

To understand softball before Doublewall Technology, think of aviation before the jet engine. Heck, think of aviation before wings. In 1992, in our never-ending quest to build the world's best hitting tools, DeMarini engineers invented the Doublewall bat, knocking the competition into an epic tailspin.

Based on the leaf spring mechanism in trucks, Doublewall Technology uses two independent layers of metal (inner and outer walls) to generate a dynamic "springboard" effect. The two walls are separated by a thin layer of DeMarini Power Fluid, which allows the walls to move independently, creating a hyper-reflexive surface. When a ball connects with the bat, both walls spring back, energizing the entire barrel. In short, Doublewall Technology delivers a monstrous sweetspot that launches rockets, every time.
