ABOUT ME!
Hi. Nice to see you here. I know this page looks choppy. Forgive me. I'm lazy and I've never taken the time to try and learn enough about HTML to fix it. Silly me. Well, I'm a writer! What do I care!
Anyway. My real, actual, birth certificate name is...Mary. Yup. But, to you out there in internet land, I'm thelittletree. Currently I'm living in London, Ontario (in Canada) and working at a part-time job as a glamorous cashier. What else can I tell you? Let's see... Oh, I know. I'm twenty-five and I'm currently engaged to my wonderful boyfriend of seven years. Ahh, bliss. He's finally going to make me into an honest woman...oh, I mean...ah forget it.
My plans for the future, in case you care, have something to do with getting a job as an editor somewhere, marrying a nice guy (Jon!) and having two-point-four children. And a cat. And some sort of car. And a house, I'm assuming. Well, this is winding down.
Stuff thelittletree likes
Hmm...things I like. Well, if you haven't guessed by now, I have a thing for trees. Yeah, well. Trees are nice and quiet. And everyone's got to obsess about something. I also love cats, and cow paraphenalia. I also love playing roleplaying games, like Earthbound and Chrono Trigger (yeah, old school games) and most of the Final Fantasy series. And...*ahem* I have a soft spot for a certain Square-Enix character whose name starts with V and ends with -incent. Needless to say, I love to write (primarly about him on this site). And I love to read. And that's about all I have to say about that.
Stuff thelittletree doesn't like
I don't like the dark. I don't like the cold. I don't like the ending to Final Fantasy VII. I also don't care much for dogs. I was bitten by one in the butt when I was a kid and it kinda turned me off them. I don't like bugs either. The list could go on and on. I'm picky about food, too...well, sometimes I am. That covers most of it, I guess. I'll add to it later if I think of anything else. (I bet you're just riveted to your seat in anticipation.)

Well, I have a Mom and a Dad, a younger brother and two younger sisters; my sisters are Chrissy and Theresa, and my brother is spaanoft@starmen.net. Spam him if you want. I also have a cat...well, three cats, but none of them live with me ('cuz my apartment building doesn't allow pets. Fricken' sucks.) Wow. This is interesting stuff, huh?
Quirks about thelittletree
In case you're interested. The number 738. It haunts me. 7:38 on the clock. $7.38 worth of change. In Space Quest 3, the maximum amount of points you can earn is 738. Now that I've told you, you'll see it, too. Forgive me.
Guidelines For Sending Me Stories
Well, if you've seen my site so far and you still want to send me something, I'll tell you what I'm looking for. I have a few reservations. 1) No excessive swearing. Okay, yeah, the occassional word or %&$# is fine, but try to keep it toned down. 2) No detailed sex or violence. 3) Please, not too many overused plot devices. Be creative. 4) Use a spell-checker, and please make sure the writing is grammatically correct. If it's not, I'll probably edit it. I'm a real perfectionist. So don't get mad if you're work isn't EXACTLY as you sent it to me. I won't change the story at all, just the errors. Well, that's actually about it. I'm not a dictator, so you can write what you want. I'll take fanfiction from the Final Fantasy series (but I'm primarily interested in FFVII), and I'd probably post Chrono Trigger fanfiction. Okay, well, happy writing.
