Tool Consecration Ritual

Items Needed:

1. Item to be consecrated.

2. Bowl of Salt ( Sea salt is best)

3. Incense and Burner ( of your choice)

4. Candle ( Red, Black, or White)

5. Holy Water and something to sprinkle it with.

*Note: 'Thee' and 'You' = Item's Name.

The Words:

I now consecrate thee in the presence of the gracious God and Goddess and within the circle, protected and witnessed by the 4 Elemental Lords and Guardians.

Now, I breath the breath of life unto thee. The breath of pure and perfect white light, the light that pervades the universe, both within and without. As I breath, the light goes forth from my lips and my hands unto thee. By this light and breath, do I cleanse and purify thee.

I charge you by the Old Ones: By the omnipotent Goddess and God ( or by Name):

By the powers and virtues of the Sun, Moon , and the countless Stars, By the Powers of the Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit, that I shall obtain all that I desire through you. Charge this by your powers O gracious God and Goddess ( or by name).

Consecration by the 4 Directions or Quarters:

NORTH

By the powers of the Earth,

I consecrate thee and bless thee by the Salt of Life (Sprinkle salt on item) For use in my rituals and rites. Empower thee with the ability to manifest and stabilize my magick.

Empower thee with: (List the item's attribute of the Earth here).

Spirits of the Earth, I call upon and invoke you to bless thee now.

EAST

By the powers of the Air,

And the breath of life, I consecrate thee and bless thee by the Sacred Smoke (Pass item through the incense smoke). For use in my rituals and rites. Empower thee with the ability to cleanse and clarify my magick.

Empower thee with: ( List the item's attributes of the Air here).

Spirits of the Air, I call upon and Invoke you to bless thee now.

SOUTH

By the powers of Fire:

I consecrate thee and bless thee by the Fire of Life (pass item through candle's flame or near it-DO NOT set a blaze!) For use in my rituals and rites. Empower thee with the ability to energize and strengthen my magick.

Empower thee with: (List item's attributes of fire here).

Spirits of Fire, I call and invoke you to bless thee.

WEST

By the powers of the Sea and the Waters of Life,

I consecrate and bless thee by the Sacred Water ( Sprinkle Holy Water upon the item).

For use in my rituals and rites. Empower thee with the ability to bring intuition and understanding to my magick.

Empower thee with: ( List item's attributes of water here).

Spirits of Water, I call upon and invoke you to bless thee.

ABOVE

I call to you O Gracious Lord and Lady.

To consecrate and bless thee for use in my rites and rituals,

O Great Mother and Great Horned God,

I call upon and Invoke you to bless thee now. ( Draw a Pentagram in the air above you with the item).

By the Lord and Lady: ( Name them both)
