NEW AMERICAN CHAMPION !!
AM. CAN. CH. AMBERTRU'S HARD 2B HUMBLE
What more can I say. Logan has been a dream come true for me. He has gladly given anything asked of him and has done so with such wonderful enthusiasm. I am incredibly proud of my boy and eternally thankful to Cortney Corral for her outstanding grooming and handling skills that made him look like a winner at every show! To say that Logan adores her is an understatement (I'm jealous! LOL) Again many thanks to Susan Bulger and Zoom for making this dream litter possible. I'm proud to say that Logan's win also made his daddy an Outstanding Sire! Congrats Zoomy! You deserve it! The weekend before this show Logan also became a Certified Therapy Dog! Now we are on to Obedience and whatever else comes our way :) Of course Logan will be in the specials ring every now and then as well. Many Thanks to all of you who supported him!

Chilli attended her very first show Thanksgiving Weekend in Trout Creek. In true Ambertru style she was totally out of coat but that didn't stop her. Many Thanks to the judges who recognized Chilli's qualities without the coat and once again to Graeme Burdon for making it look easy :) (I would also like to think I had a little to do with the wins as well since I limped my way into the BB ring each show :) ) Chilli is Champion #4 out of out Tang x Zoom litter. HUGE Congrats to Linda & Corbyn on his new CD title! Not only did Corbyn get his CD in his first three trials but he did it by going HIGH IN TRIAL for all three of his qualifying legs! Just as exciting, this win came on the tail of an owner handled Group 1st in conformation only weeks earlier. What an incredible team! To say am proud of you both is an understatement!!

Prada attended her first set of shows in Woodstock, Ontario July 11-15 (in he summer undies!) and came home with her first 8 points!

Ch. Ambertru's Wind In The Willows It was an exciting weekend at the Erie Shores shows in Caledonia. Thursday - Winners ~ 3pts - Linda Starbuck Saturday - B/W, BB, Group 2 (from the classes to finish) ~ 5pts - John Ross Sunday - (first day as a Special) Best of Breed - Don Duncan Many Thanks to the judges who found Willow in the line-up and of course to Graeme Burdon who always does a beautiful job presenting our dogs. I also want to thank Suzie McArthur, Willow's co-breeder for allowing Willow to come back to me.
NEW CARO RALLY TITLE!
Huge Congrats to Lindsay Leckie & Sully aka "Ambertru's Rewind" on Sully's very first title. At just short of 7 months Sully earned his CARO Rally-O Novice title getting his 3 legs in 3 runs with scores of 192, 197 & a first place 197! Sully's "sister" Ruby deserves a little brag too as she took second to Sully in the last run but was first in the other two!!! Sully's parents are Ch. Taffy's Top Gun At Ambertru & Ambertru's Celestial Reign. * NEW CHAMPION * We are thrilled to announce Champion #3 from our Tang x Zoom litter! Our newest star :) Willow attended her first show Mothers Day weekend in Arnprior and what a Mothers Day gift she gave me! After a slow start to the weekend, Willow pulled it together and went Best of Breed over a Special and then went on to win a Group 2 for her first 5 points! Thank you to respected judge Tom Alexander & our "hander extraordinaire" Graeme Burdon ! Can Ch. Ambertru's Hard 2B Humble Logan continues his winning ways in the USA by going Ft. St. Clair Kennel Club - Eaton Ohio - WINNERS DOG ~ Marilyn Spacht Crawford County Kennel Club - Bucyrus, Ohio - WINNERS DOG ~ Judith Goodin Ravenna Kennel Club - Tallmadge, Ohio - WINNERS DOG ~ Lowell Davis

Can CH. Ambertru's Hard 2B Humble IT'S A MAJOR !! Logan, only three weeks over 18 months, and only his second time in the US picked up his SECOND MAJOR!!! In only 2 weekends Logan picked up his 2 majors and got his OVC Hip & Elbow clearances. (eyes & heart clear previously) Needless to say it's been a pretty darned exciting couple of weeks! Logan will be available to select girls when he comes home.

Logan, Can Ch. Ambertru's Hard 2B Humble attended his first show of 2008 in Syracuse, NY. He won his 12-18 class the first two days and went second in the Open Dog class the third day. Thank you to Holly Robinson for handling Logan to his first three US placements. On the last day, Cortney Corral took the lead and Logan went Winners Dog for his first US Major!! THANK YOU CORTNEY!!!

What a way to start 2008! Elgin County Kennel Club January 18, 19, 20 /2008 Nygel ( Ambertru's Nygel Ise The Bye) attended his first show of 2008 as a Senior Puppy (second time ever in a show) Thank you Graeme Burdon for once again presenting our Goldens to perfection! Thank you also to Colin Brownlee for taking the lead in the Breed ring when Graeme had to show his Special. We are utterly thrilled with the Breed Win! (I owe you!!) And to the anonymous girl who took Nygel in for Puppy Group, THANK YOU!
