"The Green Men"
One cool fall night
I sat there gazing at the stars,
When suddenly I saw a light
Emanating from the heavens afar.
"Just the North Star" I thought,
when suddenly out of the corner of my eye I caught
a glimpse of this "star" moving!
Oh what a sight to see!
This lovely thing was moving nearer to me!
Bigger and brighter it shone,
And suddenly my fears began to hone
On this thing now hovering directly above me!
My senses began to lack
When all went completely and totally black.
I woke up in a bright place,
A man with skin of pearly green approached me
I said, "Dang, where's my can of mace!"
Then he replied "I mock thee!"
Others of his kind joined us
We talked and laughed the hours away
For now, my fears had been put at bay.
Then, the real funness started!
We did the Tango dance
I think they put me in a trance!
But oh was it fun!
Boy though, did these guys need some sun.
OH NO!
Everything went black again!
I found myself lying on the ground
In crisp grass covered by morning dew
A new sense in me I found
Now I believe in aliens too!!!
