4-17-84:Hello journal.I am Cordata,as you know.This is my first entry.I am three Turns old currently.I have one younger sister,Talya.She is one Turn old.Goodbye.
4-19-84:Hi again journal.I now have a younger brother.His name is Daren.He was born to my parents,Adati and Corlen.
5-8-84:I am now four Turns old.Happy birthday to me.
7-25-84:Talya is two.
1-31-86:I have a new little sister.Her name is Carmin.She's such a dear,with the cutest little red curls and blue eyes.She looks just like a miniature Talya.
4-29-86:Today is a very sad day indeed.My darling little sister Talya has become feverish.We're trying to keep her alive,but I'm not sure if it's working.
5-2-86:As I write this,I try hard not to cry.My sweet sister Talya has died from the fever this morning at Dawn.I mourn her now and forever.
9-8-86:I'm moving,journal,and you're moving with me.I'm to be fostered to Tillek Sea Hold.Mother thinks it will take away some of my pain inside.I hope so.
9-8-88:Two years later,I'm still at Tillek.I have received word that I have a new little sister.Her name is Arlyn and I hear she has black hair and amber-gold eyes.
3-27-89:Wow.I have received a firelizard egg from a clutch I found.I guess I shuld explain.We were told to look for firelizard clutches along the beaches.Well,I was caught out during Threadfall.I found myself a small natural cave to stay in the duration of the fall.When I was sure it was past me,I came out.There,across from the cave I was in,in a little hole in the solid rock,was a firelizard clutch.When I told the Holder about it,I was to get an egg from the clutch.Finally,I will have a companion!What color will it be?Only time will tell!
5-1-89:Well,my egg hatched.I was soooo nervous.My friend (yes I actually have a friend here),Meghin,who was also to receive an egg,and I stood near the hearth with our eggs.Meg saw her egg crack first,and we both grabbed a bowl of meat.We has to set our eggs down to do so,and they got switched.Well,when mine finally broke shell,it was a brown.I fed it carefully and Impressed it!Meg Impressed a green,but she loves the thing to death and isn't the slightest bit upset with me.Now he's curled up in the crook of my arm.I have named him Repa.Meg named her green Tala,after my sister.
7-30-89:Well,I will soon be at a different place.I'm to be apprenticed at Harper Hall!I don't know why,but I'm glad.Meghin is upset,and so am I,but this is the oppurtunity of a lifetime!Meghin and I were teaching the younger ones their learning ballads and a harper went to Sea Holder Gianar (that's Meg's dad!) and said that I would make a fine harper.He summoned a blue dragon by the name of Tracith to take me to Harper Hall.I quickly packed my things and we were off!
9-21-90:I'm apprenticed to the Masterharper!I can't believe it!
2-7-94:I've walked the tables.I'm an official journeywoman harper!Wow!
3-22-91:One of the queens here at Harper Hall has clutched.I'm to receive an egg!What color is it?Again,only time.
3-25 91:Hatching again!I Impressed a darling little blue firelizard,who I named Safa.My friends Jaya,Zakk,Tarmon,and Disalia have all received eggs and Impressed too.Jaya Impressed green Rigl,Zakk Impressed bronze Yara,Tarmon Impressed brown Mica,and Disa (as we all call her) Impressed a gold,Tipo.We're so excited.Repa loves his new friend.He's a bit interested in Jaya's green and Disa's gold.I shall have to find him a wild green.
12-29-95:Tarmon's been sent away to be a weyrharper.I wonder which weyr?
7-15-98:I've been Searched for candidacy.A greenrider,Karily,came to take the Masterharper away for a visit to the Weyrleaders at some distant Weyr and her green,Byrith,started acting strange.Karily figured out that I was the one causing her dragon to act that way.She immediately told me to pack my things,that I was searched for candidacy and needed to stay at Mysticalthia Weyr.I was searched to be a candidate for Jerdan Weyr evidently,but I don't think Karily even knew that at the time.
7-17-98:I've just met the weyrharper and guess who he is?That's right--Tarmon!I was so excited to meet my old friend.He has acquired another firelizard,a green named Sassa.
9-7-99:I've made deal with a resident bluerider,K'tan.I can ride his blue Geruth whenever I want until I Impress...if I Impress!
