K'tar and Gyniath
You enter this weyr cautiously.It is far above the other weyrs and you don't want to lose your balance.A boy that seems to be about 12 turns glances over at you.He has dark brown hair pulled back into a tail at the nape of his neck and midnight blue eyes."Hello traveler,I'm K'tar,"he says in a very soft voice."Nice to meet you,"you tell him.He smiles very lightly."Forest,come here,"he calls.Suddenly a dark green firelizard,so dark it is almost black,appears from /between/.
"Oh,there you are Forest.Come say hi to our visitor,"K'tar says.Forest chirps at you then goes to perch on a flitcouch."Sorry about her,she's not very talkative,"he says."Well,now that she's asleep,I can talk about a subject that mildly upsets her.You see,I've Impressed a brown from Shelieth Weyr.His name is Gyniath.Anyway,Forest doesn't like that one bit.I'm trying to convince her that I still love her as much as I did before.My sister and brother,surely you've met them,they're twins and they live here?And my other sisters?"You shake your head."Well,the twins are Katrina and K'tan.They live in neighboring weyrs and fight all the time.I'm glad I'm way up here on the top floor.That way,Gyn has plenty of sunlight on the ledge,"he says,gesturing to a sky blue curtain at the back of the weyr.You take that to be the way to the ledge."And one of my other sisters,Katalina,lives way up here too,"he continues."My other sisters,Katelyn and Katy,live in the main part of the weyr.My siblings and I were born and raised at Nyte Tyme Weyr with Karily.Katrina and I are apprentice healers and Katan is an apprentice harper,"K'tar says,gesturing to the shelves.You look closer on the shelves and several jars of numbweed and some oil,along with various other medical supplies."Katalina and Katelyn,I don't know what they do.They're both queenriders here,and Katalina's gold Trianth has just risen to mate!J'dar's bronze Amyth flew her.And Katy doesn't do anything,she's just a baby and can't do anything,"says Katar,sighing."K'trina,that's what we call her now,or Kat,Impressed brown Ayth awhile back.I remember being sooo jealous!And now I've got my own.K'tan and his blue Geruth take the teasing in good part,"he says."Well,I'd best be going now,"you tell him."All right,but come back and visit soon,and make sure you visit the others!"he calls as you leave.
