K'trina (Kat) and Ayth

You enter this weyr and see various amounts of healing supplies.You turn to look at the various tapestries covering the cave walls.To one side is a standard dragon couch in a sky blue color.There is no one in here,so you go to investigate some of the supplies.At that moment,a nearly invisible door in the cave wall is swung open,and a girl of about 16 turns stomps in."Ohhhh,that boy is so impossible!"she shouts,midnight blue eyes flashing.She tosses a strand of her chin-length dark brown hair back as she turns to face you.She rubs the long scratch that goes by the edge of her eye down her cheek as she darts a glance to the door,almost as if she wishes it would disappear.Her face loses its anger and turns to an expression of happiness as she says,"Oh,hello.I just got back from gloating to my twin brother,who,as you can see,I don't always get along with.Allow me to introduce myself.I am K'trina,or Kat.Before I Impressed Ayth I was Katrina,but I figured since I Impressed a male color,I should use the honorific.But some people didn't think that was right,so I'm also Kat.I'm an apprentice healer,which is why there are so many medicinal supplies around here,and rider of brown Ayth.Ayth is taking a nap in the other room now.Tryl,come here sweetie!"she calls in the direction of the door.A moment passes,and then a violet firelizard launches herself through the door."Oh,Tryl!Did K'tan try to make you sing again?"she asks of the firelizard,rubbing its eyeridges soothingly.She reaches for a jar of numbweed and almost unconsciously rubs a bit on the scratch on her face,then rubs some on a small scar on the firelizard's side.The firelizard chirps,then goes /between/."Oh,dear,I hate it when K'tan tries to make her sing.He only tries because he knows she can talk,she isn't Pernese.I got her at Vitora Beach.Sometimes I think she's more trouble than she's worth!K'tan is an apprentice harper,and he always bothers Tryl.Although now that I think about it,he's not really a harper anymore.He's a bluerider,"she says,a look of pride showing through."He just recently Impressed.Needless to say,I didn't.Oh,well,I Impresssed at Karath Weyrat their most recent clutch.My motto is,you win some,you lose some..."she says,trailing off.She grabs you by the hand and pulls you into the other room.You notice a large brown dragon."Isn't he beautiful?"Kat says."I was so surprised when Ayth came up to me,but then,isn't everyone surprised when their dragon chooses them?"she says,smiling happily at the brown."Well,I think it is time for me to move on,"you tell her."Well,ok,come back soon though!"she calls after you.
