• Please Only Send in your Horse For Testing on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The testing will occur on Friday to Tuesday, and the results will be mailed to you sometime in between that time. The horses that make it into a stud book or foal book get mentioned in the newsletter, and that's how you will find out. If you would like individual results, please email Sam.**
• Studbook – Regular is for advertising purposes of all stallions
• Broodbook- Regular is for advertising purposes of all mares
• Breeding Book One ( BB1)- 10% of mares and stallions get excepted in this book, and Are considered Model mares and stallions. Geldings can become a model friesian But, they will not be placed in the BB.
  • Model- Model mares, and stallions will have 2 stars: ** placed Before their name, on Breeding Records, and in the FHAEF
  
  
• Breeding Book Two ( BB2)- 20% of mares and stallions get excepted in this book, and Are considered Star mares and stallions. Geldings can become a star friesian But, they will not be placed in the BB.
  
  • Star- Star mares, and stallions, will have a star: * placed before their Name, as well as anywhere else in the FHAEF.
  
  
• Foals- Foals, who have model or star, parents, or both must have part of the parent's name that is the Star or Model incorporated in with it.
  Foals of model and star parents will automatically make it into the foalbook Without cost. Foals of parents that aren’t model or star parents will be tested and registered For the foal book. 95% of foals will make it into the foal book.
  If your foal is in the foalbook they get an award to put on their page:
  
  
• All owners wishing their horses to be tested must have their horses Registered with the FHAEF. There will be a 50$ fee each time you would like your horse tested. If your horse doesn’t make it into either star or model ratings the first try, you may have them tested again, but a charge will occur every time. Horses to be tested must be registered with the FHAEF and no unsound horses will be tested.

How the Testing Works:
Tests will be marked in the following

Training Manners: 10%

To choose the horses marks, numbers will be chosen by the roll of 2 dice and the number added up from the sum of those numbers will be the correct score. If the number is higher than ten, a re throw of the dice will occur.

An example of the testing process, is that if 20 horses are being tested, then 20% of those 20 horses will be accepted for a star rating. There fore 4 horses will be accepted. If 10% of 20 horses will be accepted for a model rating, 2 horses will be accepted.

The 2 highest marks of 20 horses for model The next 4 highest marks for star.

Awards for the Star and Model Rated, will get the following to put on their webpage. Customized with the horses name, as well as a few other prizes.

It sounds complicated, but once you get the hang of it it's quite easy.
