Son of Kemper Talmage Glasgow, Sr. and Lela Ross Tompkins,  Kemper was born April 23, 1920 and died September 1987. He served with the 1259th Army Air force BU during WW II. The WW II Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, American Service Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal was awarded to Kemper. He was one of four boys of this family serving at the same time during WW II.
