Actress Pamela Anderson Lee blows a kiss to the crowd after receiving the first-ever Linda McCartney Memorial Award from Paul McCartney, at the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals "Party of the Century and Humanitarian Awards" ceremony, Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999, in Los Angeles. Lee was honored for her work, including posing for a Times Square billboard, entitled, "Give Fur the Cold Shoulder!"

Pamela Anderson Lee, shown in an undated promotional photo, stars in the syndicated TV action-comedy series "V.I.P." along with Molly Culver, left, and Natalie Raitano.

Pamela Anderson says she almost lost her famous breasts entirely when doctors recently removed her silicone breast implants and discovered that one of them was leaking.
"The operation was supposed to take just four hours but it turned into eight hours because the surgeons discovered the leak," the buxom V.I.P. star tells British Cosmopolitan. "They had to remove everything. I took the chance, wondering if I was going to have any breasts left, but I had faith."
The former Baywatch babe, who has gone from an artificial F-cup back to a natural D-cup, says the implants made her feel "very self-conscious" and she had wanted to get them removed for a long time. "The novelty had worn off. One day I just looked at myself in the mirror and thought, 'I look completely ridiculous!' And I feel so much sexier now. I've been trying on all the old teeny-weeny bikinis I used to wear before I moved to Los Angeles, and they actually fit."
Anderson adds that she is busy planning an 11-channel web site called Pam TV and is preparing to sing on a new CD with the help of Lenny Kravitz, Bryan Adams and Marilyn Manson. Why does the mother of two keep such a busy work schedule? "There was a big article in the Wall Street Journal saying I've generated $77 million on the Internet and that I've made just as much money as some huge multinational companies. But I haven't; trust me, I can barely pay the rent!"— Rich Brown
