Chapter 3

"Now Nick, remember. This is a concert for thousands and thousands of people. Tickets here sold out in five minutes, the place'll be packed. Quit worrying so much on just one person out of thousands and concentrate on not screwing up or playing favorites on-stage if you see her in the audience!" Brian said, trying to talk sense to his buddy.

"Ya think I can help it? Something's gone over me. All I've seen is her picture and all I know is what Denise has told me and that's it, but I can't help that I've got an unstoppable urge to date her." Nick said shaking his head.     "Well maybe she's making her picture give off weird vibes. Yeah, she's using some odd power to make her mere picture mentally irresistible to you and AJ." Brian said with a laugh.
"Very funny. You can't do that. You can't charge an object with a spell that will manipulate the minds of others. It goes against the Rede: 'An it harm none, do what ye will.'" Nick said like he was quoting a wonderful discovery from an encyclopedia.     "You actually did research on Wicca to impress this girl? How the heck do you even know she is? Maybe she was when the picture was taken but she could have changed now." Brian said getting frustrated.
"Well if she isn't than I won't have to use what I know, and if she is, than cool. What's it to you anyway? You've got Leighanne that calls you every damn hour of the day. You've got a girlfriend, why can't you just be supportive in me looking for one?" Nick said indignantly.     "Leigh Anne and I have been together for the past five years. She knows me the best. She was there for me since I first started out with Backstreet and she's been there ever since. How much can I emphasize that you have not even met this girl!" Brian countered.
"I know, ok. Trust me. It's called instinct." Nick said.

"What's called instinct?" Asked AJ walking into Brian's hotel room. They were now settled in at the Soutton in Toronto minutes away from the Molson Amphitheater. They all were staying in their own separate rooms.
"Don't you ever knock? And what the hell is up with that?" Asked Brian pointing to the thing around AJ's neck.     "It's called a Pentagram, it's a symbol of the Protection of the Elements in the Wiccan religion." AJ said simply.
"AJ! You idiot! You're wearing it the wrong way! That's the symbol of the Devil!" Nick cracked.     "What?! I am? Oh, damn." AJ said. He took off the Pentagram and flipped the five pointed star right side up.     "Do you have any idea of how people would react if you went outside with that symbol the way it was?" Nick said laughing.
"I know, now shut up." Snapped AJ.     "Ooooo, what cha going to do? Kill me?" Mocked Nick.     "I just might, Jack-ass!" AJ argued.     "They're fighting, again!" Brian hollered. Kevin and Howie enteredthe room.     "You two are really starting to get on my bad side! Stop fighting, the girls are going to be here in exactly one hour!" Kevin scowled.     "Damn, you're right." AJ and Nick both said and ran out the door.

"This is going to be long day." Howie muttered."Tell me about it......." Said Brian.
