On Nov 15, 2008, we marked the 65th Anniversary of the commencement of the UNTD program with a dinner at HMCS Star, where it all began. There were 65 registrants, representing all three decades (40's, 50's and 60's) and from the first class in '43 to the last in '68, including LCDR Pierre Taillon, last CO of the UNTD Division at Donnacona. Guests included CMDRE Jennifer Bennett, Hon. Wm C. Graham, Robert Black (UNTD/RCNVR), LCDR Dana Baars (CO Star), LCDR Glenna Swing (former CO Star)
