It was the day after Gillian had those nightmares, some old memories and some that she couldn't understand. Gillian had an idear not her first choice but she had to talk to someone who knew what she was doing.
Knock, Knock, Knock!
Rae: "Coming." She walked over and opened the door to see Gillian standing there.
R: "Gillian I'm happy you came. After getting your call I was worried." Her voice was calm and soothing it made Gillian feel more comfortable.
G: "Thank you for taking me, DR. Rae" She could see Gillian was nervous and didn't really want to be here.
R: "Rae, just call me Rae." Gillian visibly relaxed a little and only a little. She finally stepped into her office fully and sat down on a chair in front of Rae's desk.
R: "Don't think of this as a professional visit, sweetie, just think of it as you confiding in a friend."
G: I'm not going to stall so this is it. The other night I had a dream well more like a nightmare of a person I know but haven't seen in a while and he is..." She paused on saying the word dead because she knows the truth on how he died. Her face was white and scared but she said it... "He is Dead and in my dream he was alive but is seemed so real, like he could be."
R: "There is a high chance that your Sub-Conscience is feeling guilty. Maybe it has to do with something you promised back in Budapest or to a friend in Europe. That would bring any memory that has to do with these things." Gillian looked at her pleadingly.
G: "Are those the only possibilities?"
R: "Unless he was alive recently yes I'm afraid so. Why? Were you looking for something else?" Gillian could see Rae really cared but couldn't bring herself to tell her the truth of what had happened.
G: "No I guess not. Thank you." Gillian then got up and left the office
Just as the wind hit her and blew her hair back, she got this weird feeling in her stomach a feeling like something was wrong with her baby. She was heading to her car, but before she could get to the hospital for a check up, her face went from a scared wind blown red to a deathly white. She felt as if someone was twisting and pulling all the muscles in her stomach and as if her head was being banged into the wall over and over again.
Gillian then felt weak all of a sudden, too weak for her to like. She didn't have enough energy to go back up to Rae's office so she tried to go to the car again but fell to the ground fainted. Rae had not heard a car go yet, so looked out the window to see if Gillian was OK and saw her lying there on the ground.
She ran downstairs and checked Gillian for a pulse; she felt it but it was weak. She then checked her eyes, they her turning all white. Rae took out her cell phone and dialed 911.
R: "Gillian hold on, your going to be OK! Your going to be OK!"
Ryan came running in the hospital door and didn't even stop to talk to Rae or anyone else for that matter. Ryan was then in Gillian's room and sitting down holding her two hands in the palm of his.
R: "Baby! Princess please wake up." Ryan felt tears prickling his eyes.
R: "I just got you back, I can't lose you again. I can't baby, I just can't."
A single tear fell down Ryan's right check as he lifted up Gillian's hands to his lips and kissed them so soft and caring.
R: "Princess your my whole life. Without you I'm no one."
Ryan still had her hands up at his lips and he could feel her cold, tiny hands on his lips. His eyes were red and his face was damp from his own tears. What we would he do if she wasn't OK, or their baby? They were his whole world and without them he would shatter.
His voice was soft and his eyes were caring as he stared at his princess and his small baby inside of her.
R: "You know I never really cared about anyone before because no one really cared about me...until you. The first time I saw you in that office at WRCW i thought you were the most beautiful person I had ever seen and when I kissed you right there it wasn't just a kiss; it was so much more to me and I knew it I did but I denied it and I used my con-man skills to fight the feeling you gave me right here." He lifted their hands to his heart. His tears were dried but they were still there. His voice grew softer with each word he spoke. He still held her hands and talked into them as his lips caressed them.
R: "Baby, I have always loved you and when Mr.Pinkerton came and tried to deport you I wanted to hit him over the head because he was trying to take away the best feeling I have ever had in my life. The best time I have ever had was with you."
R: "Baby," his voice wasn't above a whisper and he put her hands down as he leaned forward and whispered into her ear, "I love you." He kissed the top of her head before he walked outside for the doctor could check her status .
Just as he was at the door he turned around and said to her those same words that were always so hard for him to say but now that came so easiliy, over and over again. But only to her, only to Gillian.
R: "I said it before and I'm going to say it again. I love you so very much."
He then turned and walked out the door.
