Facing Many Dangers

It is a week before Halloween, everybody has their decorations up and Edmund is getting the Halloween ball on it's way with the plans for the food, drinks, were it will be held, and decorations so it is pretty safe to say Wildwind is like a nut house at the moment. Gillian is helping them get everything ready.
Ed-You, you can put those over there. No no no wait! we still need you to put the band stand in didn't they tell you that when I called.
Designers-No all they said was to help get those tables built if you want us to do the band stand were going to have to go back and get our tools and at our inconvenience it's gonna cost ya extra.
Ed-Huh, fine just hurry up.
Designer- Will do that.(They walk out passing Gillian in the hall )
G-Hi Edmund,looks like your busy around here today.
Ed-Busy is not even the word. Plus your lovely cuz and brother of mine disappeared and I cant find him anywhere. How are you though I mean how are things with you and Ryan?
G-Well ...to tell you the truth we're finished and this time for good! And about Dimitry, he hates doing these things I wouldn't be surprised if he is hiding in some bush.
Ed-Oh Gillian I am sorry to hear that but are you sure? I mean it is not like you never said that before.
G-No this time it is for real and for good. Don't feel bad Edmund I'm fine with it. I mean Jake and I are dating again and I like Jake he is a good person he won't hurt me.
Ed-Ok but you know you might change your mind and Ryan probably won't be there Gillian.
G-He's not even there now. Let's get off the subject of Ryan ok?
Ed-Ok ok. Well do you feel like doing me a favor?
G-Sure anything just name it.
Ed-Shoot me and put me out of my misery (Edmund is practically doing those weeping laughing cries if you know what I mean )
G-Oh Edmund you'll survive trust me I have done plenty of these balls before. If you need any help just ask me.
Ed-Great can you get that box over there and start unloading some of those costumes.
G-Sure thing (doorbell rings ). I'll get it don't worry.

She pulls the door open to see Scott there and he looks serious.
G-Scott! Hey what's the matter? I mean you look so depressed.
S-We need talk Gillian. Can we go somewhere? It's really important. (SERIOUS tone)
G-Can't we just talk here ?(SORTA SCARED WORRIED TONE)
S-No I need to talk to you in private.
G-Ok let me just get my coat. (SHE WENT UPSTAIRS AND RETURNED A FEW MOMENTS LATER AND THEY BOTH WALKED OUT THE DOOR AND STEPPED INTO HIS CAR. SCOTT KEPT DRIVING UNTIL THEY CAME TO THIS LITTLE RIVER ABOUT A MILE OUT OF PINE VALLEY)
G-Scott why are we here? And were is here?
S-I have to show you something extremely horrifying. I don't want to but you must know (almost crying). He walks over to a bush and pushes the branches to the side and then brings Gillian over to were he is. She lets out a gasp so horrifying it could kill. She falls to her knees crying and screaming.
G-NO NO IT CANT BE POSSIBLE !(HYSTERICALLY CRYING) Scott comes down to her level and hugs her.
S-Sh sh. I didn't want to show you this or tell you but you needed to know Gillian. I don't know what to say except I am so sorry .
G-When... when did you find this?
S-When I was driving to go pick up my dad at the airport this morning and my tire went flat right here. I went to put the jack down when I saw it and I looked I even tried to pinch myself to wake but I couldn't because I was awake. I came over to you as soon as I took dad home.
G-Does Stuart know or anybody else for that matter?
S-No only you and me. I thought you might want to tell them but if you cant I will break it to them for you.
G-No no I have to do it but will you come with me? I think I might need some help.
S-Of course I'll come with you. We better go I dot feel to safe here and I don't want you getting killed either. Gillian didn't say a word she just got back into Scott's car and sat down, tears still running down her cheek.

They drove back to Wildwind in complete silence. Scott didn't know what to say and Gillian didn't want to talk much anyway. When they pulled up at Wildwind, the outside of the house was covered with decorations and was almost finished which is hard to do considering you have to drive to get to the West end of the house. They both stepped out of the car and walked slowly into Wildwind. Edmund was still running around all over the place for this ball.
Ed-Oh no I told you put that on the West end not here! No not you him, yes that. Thank you. Gillian walked over to him and tapped him on the shoulder.
G- Edmund I need to talk to you (she said with tears in her eyes )
Ed-Gillian in a min I a...What's wrong why are you crying? She started whispering something in his ear and as she continued to talk he got this scared look on his face like a little boy does when they go into a haunted house for the first time. When she finished he looked at her with this pleading face but she just stood there with tears running down her face.
ED-Everybody can you please leave? I dot want to do this right now. All the workers picked up and left
S-Gillian I am going to go ok? I think I should go tell Stuart if you don't mind.
G-No no. Tell him. He needs to know just as much as you. He loved him to.
S-Yes he did. Ok then I'll go tell Stuart and Ryan
G-NO! I don't want Ryan to know Scott. He has no reason to know we are over and that's it.
S-But gillian he's...
G-No Scott please. He has no reason to know.
S-Ok fine. I don't like it but ok.
G-Thank you Scott and not just for telling Ryan but for everything.
S-Your my friend I would do anything for you and don't forget that ok.
G-I won't I promise.
S-Good. I will come back later to see how you are ok?
G-Ok bye Scott
S-Bye He hugs her and walks out of Wildwind. Just then the door bell rings and Peggy gets up to go get it.
P-Hello? Hello? Is any one there? Oh there is note. (shuts the door)
P-Gillian there is a note for you I found it at the door.
G-Thank you peggy (SHE OPENS THE NOTE )It reads:

I am terrible sorry for the death that has just occured in your family. Take care until we can meet again.

It was halloween and the ball was going to start in an hour. All of Pine Valley was going to be there including Ryan. Gillian was already there and all dressed when Scott came in.
S-Hi gillian how are you doing?
G-As good as can be expected and you?
S-Ok. I mean I could be better but I am ok for now. Did I mention you look stunning tonight.
G-Thank you and you look pretty good.
S-Ah, Chandlers always do. (sarcastic kidding tone)
G-You're funny Scott you know that?
S-So were is Jake this evening ?
G-Out on business and Becca?
S-Ah, not talking to me.
G-Oh I am sorry to hear that but I am sure she will come around in a few days. Give her some time.
S-Ya you're right you're right. I will just back off for a few days. But until then do you mind being my date for the evening?
G-I would be honoured. They linked arms and walked into the ball. A few moments later Ryan entered the ball and started looking for people he knew and that is when he saw Edmund. He went over to say hello.
R-Edmund, well hello! It is nice to see you again.
Ed- You too. I mean with the death and all I thought I would have seen more of you around here. Gillian heard this and ran over there to stop Edmund from saying any more.
G-Edmund they really need you in the kitchen. (kinda hinting for him to shutup and Edmund took the cue and left)
R-What was that all about?
G-Nothing just forget whatever he said ok? Will you excuse me? Ryan didn't like the way she was acting and eyed her very carefully. Just then the phone rang and Gillian picked it up.
G-Hello? There was a guy on the other end who had a deep and scary voice .
The guy-Hello Gillian.
G-Who is this?
The guy-You know who this is. Until we meet again.
G-She swallowed hard and stiffened. What do you want?
The guy- Meet me in the woods in 20 minutes or else.
G-Why? Hello? Hello? She hung up the phone. Scott then came over to her and asked her what was wrong.
G-Scott, that letter and the call was from the same person and he wants me to meet him in the woods in 20 minutes or else.
S-You're not gonna go are you?
G-I... She got interupted by Janet running in with tears down her face and screaming
J-Gillian Amanda's been kidnapped we can't find her anywhere
G-What? When? (Shocked tone of voice)
S-How is that possible?
J-There was a letter saying UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.
G-What?
J-That is all it said i need help we have to find her. Just then Edmund who had heard the whole thing walked over and took Janet to the police.
G-Scott I'm going.
S-You can't you can get killed. I bet this is the same person that killed Demitri and left him in that bush.
G-That is why I have to go Scott.
S-I'm not going to let you go.
G-You can't stop me! I have to go. She ran out and shut door. Just then Scott knew what he had to do. He went over to Ryan and started to tell him the whole thing.
S-Ryan I have to tell you the truth. I promised Gillian I wouldn't but I have to. It is a matter of life and death.
R-What is it Scott?(All worried)
S-Ok first, Dimitry died, well he got killed, and then she got this letter saying how sorry he was until we meet again.
R-What? When? Is she ok?
S-I am getting to that. Just now she got a call telling her to meet him in the woods now or else. Then Janet came running in. Amanda is missing and the note that was left said "until we meet again". So Gillian is going to go and meet him in the woods right now.
R-Im going.Thanks man. With that Ryan left to go find Gillian before it was too late.

Ryan was driving up the streets doing 70 miles per hour until he saw her car parked outside one spot in the woods. He pulled over and got out of his car. He ran into the woods looking for her screaming her name.
R-Gillian, Gillian !!!!!!
R-Come on princess please answer me. Please be allright .

Gillian was deep in the woods looking for Amanda and the guy.
G-Amanda please come. Every body is worried sick about you. Come on Amanda no one is mad at you just please come out. She then heard a noise and jumped. She took a deep breath and started to walk foward when she heard it again and this time she froze. The noise kept getting closer and closer. She couldn't move. When a hand was on her sholder she just swallowed hard and said:
G-Wh...who are you (scared tone)
The guy-You know perfectly well who I am Gillian. She then turned around to find out it was Mark Carings, a rapist from Budapest that had raped her a long time ago. She had him arrested and he always said he would seek revenge on her. Now he planned to.
G-Why are you here?
M-You know how I told you I would seek my revenge on you if it is the last thing I do? I am going to do as I planned princess Andrassy. He grabbed her arm and she couldn't release it he had such a hard and painful grip on her.
G-Let go of me right now. You're hurting me. She kept struggling and pleading with him to let her go but he wouldn't. He just kept talking.
M-You know it is a shame there's no one here to save you is there Gillian. You can struggle all you want but your never going to get loose just like Dimitry. I snuck up on him in time and he went down like he was dying.
G-You did that, you bastard. Im going to kill you if it is the last thing I do. And I mean that, do you hear me? She then got her arm free and took his gun right out of his hands and pointed it at him.
G-Now who is in control?
M-You have spunk. I like that. He kept moving toward her not stopping.
G-I swear if you take one more step I will shoot you right here and I will not care. I will leave you here to rot like you did me. He then started to back up and he disappeared into the dark. You could hear his footsteps running. She then dropped the gun to floor and started crying. Just at that moment Ryan saw her through the trees and came running towards her. He hugged her from behind. She jumped up and turned around.
G-Ryan you scared me. You don't sneak up on a person at 12:00 A.M on Halloween night.
R-A person shouldn't be in the woods on Halloween at 12 o'clock at night with a murder after them.
G-How did you know that?
R-Scott told me the whole thing. My question is why didn't you?
G-I just forgot I guess.
R-Oh don't even do that princess you know why you didn't tell me.
G-Ok Ryan, I didn't tell because Im ...I..Im Ryan took her forearms very gently and spoke into her ear.
R-Still in love with me he said in a soft caring tone. She then turned around to face him but didn't say anything. There was a silence that seemed to last a eternity until he broke it.
R-Princess why don't we get out of here? They found Amanda in the front part of the woods she was ok besides one little bruise.
G-It's all my fault
R-What is princess?
G-What isn't? Dimitry, Amanda, us. You were right that day in the steam room when you told David... when you told David I was a flake. She was practically crying and couldn't look him in the face.
R-Princess please look at me. None of this is your fault none of it ok? Not Demitri, Amanda, or us princess.
G-It is though. You were right I am a flake.
R-No your not and I don't ever want to here you say that ever because you are the best person I know.
G-But Ryan I.. maybe I should have never come to this town in the first place.
R-No princess if you never came to this town I wouldn't have met you. I still might be a con-artist and screwing people for their money.
G-If i never came to town I wouldn't have hurt you so much when I had the affair. She bows her head in shame. He cups her chin in his hand and bends down so he can be at her level.
R-If you never came to town I would never have fallen in love and still be in love with you princess. No one else. He could see that is what she was going to ask next. He then took her in his arms and stroked her face with the back of his hand and and kissed her in a passoniate kiss and she didn't fight it for the moment.

Gillian pulled away and looked down.
R-What's wrong princess I thought this is what we both wanted.
G-Ryan I would love this but it just doesnt feel ..I don't know it just doesn't feel...
R-Right? But it does princess it feels perfect. I felt so good holding you in my arms and kissing you like that.
G-Ryan it does feel good to be in your arms again but...
R-But what? Does this have to do with Jake because I don't care about him I care about you. He will just have to find someone else.
G-But I just told him I was over you an...
R-No no you see that is where the change comes in. I am going to be over you if you know what i mean (in a seductive sneaky voice with a huge smerk on his face)
G-Ryan you know what I mean.
R-Princess I love you so much and all I want is you. I don't care about Martin or any one else for that matter. I am not going to give you up without a fight. I won't stop at ANYTHING. I mean that.
G-Ryan I just want to go home now ok and as for us, right now I am sorry it's over. We both blew it and we can't be any more than friends.
R-Ok for now, but let me warn you I will get you back even if I have to camp out on the ROOF of S.O.S. She just shook her head and smiled as she started to walk away. He just watched her and said to himself "You'll be mine no matter what I have to do."
R-Princess I'll drive you home.
G-But my car is here Ryan. I don't want to leave it ok?
R-Ok. Are you going to go back to the ball or not?
G-Um...no no I'm not. I just want to lie down and try to get some rest.
R-Ok, then I'll see you around and please be carefull princess.
G-I will I promise. So they both stepped into their cars and drove away. Ryan went back to Wildwind and Gillian went up to her room. When Ryan entered the ball Scott came over to him and asked if she was ok.
R-Ya she is fine. Well at least that is what she said.
S-You sound doubtful.
R-I don't know Scott. I mean she didn't tell me about Dimitry, and the letter I mean she might not tell me if she was ok or not. I dont know I am just worried I guess. She had a jacket on so I couldnt tell or not.
S-Well all I know is she is upstairs right now in your old room all alone and scared.(sorta hinting)
R-Thanks man. I appreciate the clues. Ryan then headed upstairs to go see Gilly. (Knock knock) She answered.
G-Yes who is there? Ryan didn't say anything but just came in.
G-Ryan you should of said something. I mean you can't just come in here like this. I am in a bath towel.
R-I've noticed (he said suggestively)
G-Not funny Ryan!
R-Hey, I just came up here to see if you were ok or not.
G-I'm fine..
R-What's that? (Pointing to her arm.)
G-Oh just a small bruise. R-That is not a small bruise that is a huge bruse and you have cuts all over you.
G-Oh well i guess i got a little hurt from him.
R-Lie down.
G-Why?
R-Because I am gonna get those cuts cleaned up and you have to keep the cloth on. It is easier if you lie down.
G-Ok I guess. Ryan got warm water and some rubbing alcohol. As he helped her clean up the cuts and bruises, he touched her hip by mistake and she let out a little gasp of pain. He then went to where the towel was tied and started untieing it. He could see a cut. She went to stop him but he looked at her and pushed her hands away. She still said no.
R-Princess I've seen you naked before.
G-I know but...
R-No buts. You have to get that cleaned up. Don't worry ok, I am just helping you, nothing more. With that she said ok and could hardly believe herself. She didn't fight it, she just kept quiet as Ryan took off her towel. He knew he had to clean the cut but just stared at her for a few moments. Then he started to clean the cut very slowly on purpose. Gillian saw the big smirk on his face.
G-You're enjoying this aren't you?
R-Oh ya. I am enjoying this so much. He finally finshed and couldn't resist and started kissing her neck and moving his hands down her body. She stopped him and got up got dressed and asked him to leave. He didn't want to blow his chances with her so he left and couldn't help but smile.

When they pulled up at S.O.S they saw some tools and stuff out side but ignored them and went in. They sat down and ordered 2 margerita's with a twist. Mateo was staring at Gillian with this huge smirk on his face and she couldn't help but notice.
J-Gillian would you like to dance while we wait for our drinks?
G-Ok that would be nice.. She was interrupted by a voice over a bull horn. It was Ryan's voice. All of S.O.S ran outside to see what the comotion was all about. There was Ryan Lavery on the roof of S.O.S with a chair, some food, and a bullhorn.
R-Atttention all S.O.S customers! I will be up here until Ms. Gillian Andrassy agrees to date me and try to work things out. Sorry Martin.
G-I'm gonna kill him! I am, I am going to kill him.
J-Gillian look. Maybe it would be better if we were just friends. I mean look at him! He's sitting on the roof of S.O.S in freezing weather for you.
G-I don't know Jake. But he's still going to die when he gets down here and he has to come down some time. She looked up and he just smiled at her she shook her head bitting her lip. Jake just laughed while shaking his head in disbelief.

Ryan is still on the roof of S.O.S and the customers have gone inside laughing and saying "how romantic." Gillian is still outside talking to Ryan from the ground.
G-Ryan will you get down from there right now!
R-Sorry can't do that princess.
G-Ryan!!!!
R-You know I am starting to like it up here. There's a good view and anice breeze. I am comfortable. (putting his hands behind his head)
G-Fine then you can stay up there.
R-I will until you agree. Gillian makes a choking motion with her hands and walks inside. She sits down and sips her marguerita thinking about what he is doing. An hour or so passes and Ryan starts to sing to get on her nerves.
R-Henry the eigth I am I am, Henry the eigth I am. Second verse same as the first ......
G-Ryan shutup!!!! He has a huge smirk on his face as he laughs. Then he starts singing "Bingo was my name-o"

B-NGO CLAP CLAP Ngo and bingo was my nameo, go clap clap clap go and bingo was my namo o clap clap clap clap o and bingo was my namo clap clap clap clap clap ____ clap clap clap clap clap and bingo was my nameo.

Back at the loft Ryan enters like he is floating on cloud nine. Scott notices too and asks him whats up.
R-Nothing really but I am getting Gillian back.
S-You did? How?
R-Well...slowly but it is coming along.
S-I heard you at S.O.S. Thank god you shut up.
R-Thanks a lot.
S-Well how did things go with her last night once you got back?
R-Pretty good for a while. Then she pushed away but I think that's because she is just scared.
S-Ya of course it is. I mean she does love you.
R-I am so happy. You're right man. I'm gonna hit the sack, I am exhausted.
S-Ya ok see ya.

It is the next day and Ryan has got the best surprise. Now everything was ready. All he needed was his princess and it would be the perfect evening.
R-Perfect. He leaves to go get Gillian. When she answers the door she is in a long dress. It is cream color with a simple silver chain around her neck. To Ryan she was the prettiest thing he had ever seen.
R-You look breath taking princess.
G-Thank you Ryan. You look very handsome.
R-Shall we go?
G-Yes we should.
R-But first...this. He places a blind fold on her.
G-What's this?
R-It's going to be a surprise. And with that they left. Ryan helped her into the car and he kept driving until they came to a small lake right outside of Pine Valley about a mile to be exact.
R-We're here.
G-Are you going to take this blindfold off of me now?
R-Maybe.
G- Ryan Lavery!!
R- Well if I take it off then you would be able to see me doing this. He kisses her in a passinate kiss. Then he unties the blindfold.
G-It's breath taking, how ...how did you do this?
R-You like it then?
G-How could I not.
R-I figured you would. Plus I thought you might miss Budapest and I don't want you going back there so I made it like the gardens. You said that Budapest was famous for their gardens.
G-They are. This looks just like them. It is absolutely stunning.
R-Well I am glad you like it. Gillian had forgotten that this was the lake where Dimitry was found dead in a bush. They sat and ate and when they finshed they lay down and watched the stars. What they didn't know was that someone was watching them from behind the trees. Ryan and Gillian decided to pack it up and call it a night when it started to get cold. They didn't notice that the spare key to Wildwind was gone and she was missing some money, $300 dollars. Ryan kissed her goodnight and left when she entered Wildwind. It was deserted and that kind of spooked her out. She let it pass and went up to her room and shut the door behind her.
G-Everything is going to be ok, she said to herself out loud. Then she heard foot steps. She turned around to see if it was Edmund or somebody but she didn't see anyone. Just when she about to go get changed she heard it again. She whipped around and this time saw who it was. She tried to scream but...
G-AAAA..... She was cut off in the middle by a gag on her mouth.
M-Don't scream, I'm not going to hurt you. I just have a business proposel for you. I'll take off the gag if you promise not to scream. He said in a calm easy voice. She shook her head in agreement. He then untied the gag and slowly pulled it away making sure she wouldn't to scream.
G-What proposel do you have in mind? She said steadily and trying to be strong not showing her pale white face to him.
M-This is what I have in mind Gillian. I have the power to hurt your family and you know I will unless...
G-Unless what? She is now nervous and trembling. Her face grew white and she felt this feeling like she was stepping into a trap.
M-You sleep with me. He said looking right into her eyes in a calm easy voice.
G-What if I don't? Still trembling and now looking him right in the eyes. Her voice was steady and strong.
M-Then Sammy, Matty and Edmund will be in the line of fire. If you do it I promise to leave you and your family alone forever! He had an evil look in his eyes and an unforgetable tone in his voice It was calm but dastardly at the same time. Gillian's face was white and tears that have been forming fell down her cold face as she turned to him and began to speak, her voice shakey and scared like a little girl's.
G-You promise that you will never come back again?
M-Yes and I won't tell a soul. He kept moving closer to her. He took his hand and rubbed it up her arm. Gillian, her voice in anger and disgust tried to hide her sadness but she couldn't. Her voice was low and shaky
G-Fine
M-What?!? I'm surprised and happy that my plan is working.
G-Fine!!! I'll do it. Her voice was louder and angrier but she knew her family was worth it. She unzipped her dress and let it fall to the ground. He took off his clothes and the rest of what she was wearing and brought her to the bed. She tried to think of Ryan or that it was a bad dream but couldn't. She was crying through the whole thing and when it was over he left like he had promised her.
G-God, please just make me forget that moment. I feel so disgusted with myself but it was for my family an.. and I just don't want things to be hurt between me and Ryan. She fell on her bed and crying her face red and cold, her hands trembling in fear that she didn't do the right thing.
