BACKSTREET BOYS dominated The Smash Hits Poll Winners Party in London yesterday, Sunday December 5, walking away with five trophies.

The US R&B popsters won Best Band On Planet Pop, Best Non-British Band, Best Single, Best Album and Best Pop Video awards at the shindig which was held at the London Arena and presented by Steps, who opened proceedings with a cover of 'Better The Devil You Know'.

An array of the year's hits were performed by everyone from Martine McCutcheon and Charlotte Church through to Texas and Tom Jones & Cerys Matthews from Catatonia.
