The Space Police Ship Deputy is a class 7 cruiser based on the popular class 6 ship design. Class 6 ships such as the SPS Galactic Mediator paved the way for this new state of the art vessel. Unlike other it's other class 7 counterparts, the Deputy has been designed for explorational, rather than military purposes. It is equipped with LSpeed thrusters and a Quadrahex supercomputer sensors bank, allowing the Deputy to explore the far corners of the galaxy in lengthly missions. It is however equipped with standard laser blasters and powerful shields, so that in the event of a battle, it will come out victorious. Although not particularly maneouverable in atmosphere, it is capable of making safe landings on many terrains. Planetside exploration is made with a small rover that can dynamically link with the onboard computer.
