Sean Morley (Val Venis) was trained by Dewey Robertson (aka The Missing Link) in 1991.

He travelled the world for wrestling. he wrestled in the British Wrestling Federation as Scott Borders. He went to Ozarks Mountain Wrestling for 8 months then went to Puerto Rico for the World Wrestling Council for 5 years. He also went to Mexico and wrestled under a mask as Steel for a little more than a year.

Sean Morley, who had aspirations of becoming a helicopter pilot before becoming a wrestler, is in to politics and is a libertarian. He publishes a monthly political newsletter.

Now under the name Val Venis in the WWF, he plays a character from Las Vegas, Nevada who, aside from wrestling, stars in "adult films".
