Because you said a prayer for me,
My view of life is brighter;
The darkness seemed to fade away,
And burdens gew much lighter.
Because you took the time to pray,
A prayer for me today,
My tears were turned to laughter,
And joy returned to stay.
The world is full of hurt today,
And hearts are filled with care,
But many lives can still be touched,
Because you said a prayer.
