This page is being done in memory of my Mother in law who passed away 10 years ago from breast cancer. It is my hope that this page will remind people of the importance of doing monthly self breast exams and having yearly mammograms after age 35. I had my first mammogram when I was 35 but I think that it is probably a good idea to consider getting one sooner. This may be especially true if you are at high risk for developing this kind of cancer.
In memory of my Mother in law I am including the lyrics to the song that you are listening to. She was a strong, hardworking, easygoing, and patient person. She was good natured and easy to talk to. She was a wonderful artist and her favorite color was purple. She was an excellent cook and she enjoyed knitting and ceramics. She was a devoted wife and Mother of four children and four grandchildren. I really wish that her grandchildren could have gotten to know her better. It is reassuring to know that one day in heaven they will have that opportunity.
