That's why God gives convictions
To both you and I.

God gives us convictions
Which AREN'T all the same
Should others feel different
Don't expect them to change.

We all must remember
"It's to each his own!"
God gives all convictions
And they're just ours alone.

Convictions are feelings
Between God and You.
God reveals things
That you shouldn't do.

Whatever He tells you
Take heed cause its true.
But don't look at others
He's talking to YOU.

Convictions and teachings
Are not always the same.
Teachings are man made,
And often need changed.

God looks at your heart
And His voice you will hear.
But man made beliefs
You never need fear.

So next time you're tempted,
To say someone's wrong.
Just remember to whom
The judging belongs.
