FACING UNCERTAINTY
What do we do when faced with times of uncertainty? Everyone has moments of wondering what the future holds in store. Difficult circumstances can sometimes lead to feelings of doubt and uncertainty over what might happen next.
It says in 2 Corinthians 5:7; "we live by faith, not by sight." As we look beyond our struggles, we learn to rise above them. Regardless of our trials, God always has a perfect plan for our lives.
I believe that when we place our trust in the Lord, we will find peace in the midst of our trials. When we remain firm in our faith we are resisting all doubt and uncertainty. In the process, we are growing and learning to lean upon Him.
I don't always understand the things that happen but I can always trust that God is in total control of them. As the old saying goes, when God shuts a door, He opens a window. I also believe that clouds have silver linings and good things come to those who wait.
So, there's really no need to be uncertain about what lies ahead. We can be confident that our future is in good hands. In the meantime, it is worthwhile to pursue the peace that only the Lord can give. His peace guards our hearts and minds and enables us to resist uncertainty. We can trust Him with our future and be certain that it will always remain secure.
PEACE FROM WITHIN
We live in a world,
Filled with fear and with strife,
And sometimes it would seem,
There's no hope in this life.
Each way we turn,
Folks are suffering so,
With no peace in their lives,
Only heartache and woe.
I wish I could tell them,
The solution is plain,
To just call on Jesus,
And trust in His name.
In Him there's a peace,
That the world cannot know,
For it comes from within,
When we give Him control.
