Have you ever prayed about something and found yourself waiting for what seems to be a very long time for an answer? I have. Like most people, there have been times when I have waited for months or even years before receiving an answer to prayer. During those times, it can be hard to be patient. On the other hand, it has been in times of waiting that I have grown to trust in the Lord's faithfulness. I rest in the knowledge that He is always in control over each and every situation.
It is written in Ecclesiastes 3 that there is a time and a season for every activity under heaven. I have come to believe that the Lord already has the answers to our prayers and that they are manifested to us at the appropriate time. Meanwhile, He will sustain us as we walk in faith, trusting and believing in Him. Sometimes prayers are answered in ways that we never expect. Often times, I am rather pleasantly surprised. Simply put, the Lord's answers to our prayers are well worth the wait. So, don't ever give up because tomorrow just might be the very day that you see victory. Blessed are all who wait upon Him.
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you
The desires of your heart.
