Fed Up! is a New York Hardcore band that formed in mid '97. Fed Up!'s music style includes old school N.Y. hardcore, played aggressive and raw. Band members include me(Dennis) on lead vocals, Luis on bass guitar, Dave "Skin" on rhythm guitar, Dave M. on lead guitar, and Efren on drums.

Some of the band influences are Agnostic Front, Breakdown, Black Flag, Iron Cross, Minor Threat, Murphy's Law, and bands in that vein.

FED UP! started out as an excuse to drink and hang out. Nothing much has changed 'til this day. The name came up in '96, we were just FED UP! with the new crop of whack new shcool metal bands and emo cry-babies. We started goofing around in '97 getting drunk and pening a few songs at each other's places. We wanted to have gang vocals two or three guys like a Wu-Tang Clan of hardcore. It started with Richie, Carlos and me (Dennis)on vocals. I was already in another band called The Deviants, a fast hardcore punk thing in the vein of D.R.I. We got Efrain to play guitar for FED UP!. He was also in another band called Anger 4 and Richie's cousin Tony was on bass. Carlos and Tony really never got along and both said fuck it. I got my friend Mike from Philly to play bass and we got the other Efren from Anger 4 to play drums. That was the line-up for the official FED UP! rehearsal.

The first practice went well but i didn't like the way Mike played bass. So i convinced the rest of the band to try out Luis, the guitar player of my former band The Deviants on bass. He worked better so it was on from there. Then Richie left because he said his heart wasn't in it anymore. So that's when i said fuck it. The band did one practice without me with Tom from R.P.O.D., and Joe from Sub-level. After that all the members individually called me to come back, saying Joe wasn't really cutting it and they really needed me. While getting ready to play our first show, Tom left because the guys in R.P.O.D. were getting jealous. That's when i said this is my band and there is no other. We played the first show in October of '97. I asked Richie to join us for a few songs 'cuz he was always a big part of this. After that it was just me and the crew.

We soon realized that Efrain the Mastermind would get too drunk to even play. So we got Dave G. of First Class and later Oxblood to join in on 2nd guitar. After having that stable line-up for a few, Luis left to join the military. Now comes in Dave M. on bass to establish another stable line-up. Then Efrain the Mastermind left to become a court officer. Now this guy has broken the law more times than you can shake a stick at but i guess he was lucky to have never been caught. He still left us with enough stories to last a lifetime. At this time, Luis wasn't in the military anymore so I dragged him back in on bass moving Dave M. to guitar where he wanted to be all along.

Well, that's the story for now. Through all the booze, fights and hoes, FED UP! lives on. "this bio is old, we have gone through more members and more experiances to write a book"
